Austria celebrates Father's Day this weekend on 8 June.
The celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society is held on the third Sunday of June in most countries - but it is also celebrated on other days in other countries and in Austria as in Belgium it will be this weekend, the second Sunday of June.
Various special offers for Father's Day are already being advertised for example in Therme Wien - the thermal resort – where special offers are available for dads from this Friday and over the weekend.
That includes a special cheap entry price, free parking at the site at Kurbadstraße 14, 1100, Vienna, and a Big Daddy Burger.
There will also be this weekend Live-Musik and a free drink for dads looking to relax.
