Julius Meinl serves up a Laurent-Perrier feast

The indulgent flag-ship store of gourmet food producer Julius Meinl, will put on a champagne feast tomorrow (Weds) in Vienna. Head Chef Metin Yurtseven will present a seven course menu to diners which will be washed down with the best that Laurent-Perrier has to offer.

"Meinl am Graben" has made champagne the centre of attention of the Ash Wednesday dinner, helping visitors to conclude the glamourous Vienna ball season, with the help of Laurent Perrier, in true style.

Together with his culinary team Metin Yurtseven has created a seven course menu of fine dishes to perfectly accompany the sparkling drink. Such dishes as oysters poached in green tea with Osietra caviar, raw marinated prawns with passion fruit, truffled  Picandou goats cheese and sorbet with champagne will appear on the menu. In addition to all this guests will be served different cuts of veal and will conclude their meal with a soup of blood orange and champagne.

Diners will be carefully guided through the champagne menu with the help of Laurent-Perrier’s head of export, Arnaud Longuent.

The event begins at 7pm on 22 February at 'Meinl am Graben' in Vienna.

The menu including an aperitif and wine costs 149 Euros per person.
