Cellar Girl Ordered to Fill in Cellar

Girl in the cellar Natascha Kampusch has been forced to fill in the cellar that she purchased together with the house where she was imprisoned after local authorities threatened to prosecute her for illegal building.

Deranged kidnapper Wolfgang Priklopil grabbed her off the streets as she walked to school and kept her imprisoned in an underground cellar built below his garage in Strasshof north of Vienna where he used her as a slave.

He forced her to clean his house wearing only a pair of knickers and she admitted in a German TV show on Sunday night that he also raped her.

But now the cellar dungeon where she spent much of her time no longer exists after Natasha called in builders to demolish it and fill in the hole after local Council officials warned her that it had been built without permission – and needed to be removed.

She said that the underground room now only exists as a film set at a studio in Bavaria, Germany, and that too will probably soon be dismantled.

The film about her kidnapping will premiere in the Austrian capital Vienna where she lives next week as she is expected to be on hand.

Natasha who celebrated her 25th birthday on Sunday has always refused to speak about the more private details of what happened to her in the cellar but in the film '3,096 Days' she is shown having a sexual relationship with Priklopil as a way of surviving and in advance of that has gone ahead and confirmed that he had raped her.

On the Sunday night TV interview with celebrated talk show host Gunther Jauch, Natascha said police evidence logs about what took place in his home - which she now owns - had reached the "public domain."  She said this made her agree to the changes in the film script to show her captor assaulting her.

"So you are saying now to the public: this is what happened, now please leave me in peace?" asked Jauch.  And Natascha replied: "Yes."

Natascha, who has made an estimated five million pounds in TV and magazine interviews as well as her memoir since she fled from the man she calls 'the criminal' on August 23 2006, still has mixed feeling about him.  She reportedly carries a photo of him around with her at all times, lives in his house, maintains his car and travels under a false name to foreign countries because of the attention she gets.
