A woman stabbed her partner in the head before going to bed after a row in her apartment in Vienna, Austria.
The pair ended in an argument after an evening of drinking alcohol with friends.
According to police the 56-year-old woman took a kitchen knife and stabbed her partner multiple times in the head before lying down and going to sleep leaving her critically injured 48-year-old partner untended.
When the friends returned they noticed traces of blood and found the injured man.
Even though he had lost a lot of blood he was alive and is now in a stable condition.
