Vorarlberg follows Vienna with reduced price transport ticket.

The regional economic sub-committee of the regional government in the has approved a Green party suggestion that the actual price with transport ticket be reduced to 365 euros.

That would put the ticket hall was of the season ticket in the Austrian capital Vienna. Vienna recently reduced its season ticket price and saw an increase in the number of users by 20%.

Currently an annual ticket costs 584 euros Burgenland.

The new been reduced from the first of December 2013 – giving public transport officials the time to increase capacity to cope with the larger numbers using their services

Green party transport spokesman Bernd Bösch said that the shortfall in revenue from the reduced price ticket would be made up by the fact that more people would be buying tickets.
